Here are some common questions about our silks & services.
Where does the silk and embroidery come from?
All of our silk and embroidery fabrics are from China. All of our silks are mulberry silks. We have been working with mills in China for over 20 years.
What is the minimum silk and embroidery I can order?
You can order minimum one metre from our fabric shop. For silks and embroidery in the collection section you may order the minimum quantity stated in each category. All orders have low minimum requirement. We can custom dye silks too. The minimum for custom dye silks is 25m. For custom dye embroidery, please email us for prices.
What is the minimum order for hand painted silk burnout?
The minimum order for hand painted silk burnout is 6m.
What is the minimum order for silk velvet?
The minimum order for silk velvet is 1m.
What is the minimum order for lace and embroidery fabrics?
We make sample metres for most of the designs of the laces and embroideries in the collection section. You may order the minimum quantity stated for each design. Minimum order for samples is around 6-10m. Please email us for prices.
Do you provide lab dips for silks?
We provide lab dips for customers who want to purchase minimum 25m of bulk. We make lab dips according to customers’ colour references or Pantone code. Lab dips are free of charge. Postage or courier is chargeable.
What is the lead time for lab dips and bulk production of silks?
The lead time for silk Lab dips is 1-2 weeks and for bulk production 2-4 weeks.
Do you send swatches for pure silks?
We send swatches for pure silks. There may be a small charge for the swatches and postage.
Do you send swatches of lace and embroidery ?
We send swatches of lace and embroidery subject to availability. There may be a charge for the swatches and postage.
How soon will I get my order?
We ship the orders by Royal mail, parcel force, courier DHL, UPS, TNT. Depending on the area and the country, the shipment may take from 2-3 days up to 2-3 weeks.
Do you make customer’s designs?
Yes, we can develop artworks and open screens of customers’ designs. There may be a charge for such development.
Do you make digital printing on silks?
We make digital printing on all kinds of silks. There is no minimum requirement for digital printing on silks.
Are your silks washable?
We write recommended wash care for each category of silks. Please refer to the individual category on the website.

We participate in several fabric trade shows each year in UK, Germany and USA. Please follow our exhibition news on the website.
