What is Silk Habotai?
Habotai is a finely woven plain-weave silk originating in China. It is woven from a single thread in both the warp and weft, giving it a smooth, even surface with a delicate drape and subtle sheen. It is typically lighter and softer than more structured silks. It feels comfortable and breathable, making it ideal for pieces worn close to the skin.
