What is Silk Chiffon?
Silk chiffon is woven from highly twisted silk yarns in a plain weave, creating an open, sheer fabric with a soft, delicate texture. It is much lighter and more fluid than nearly all of the silk fabrics we offer. Unlike synthetic alternatives, genuine silk chiffon is breathable, soft against the skin and offers a natural depth of colour with a gentle sheen.

Silk chiffon’s delicate structure benefits from careful handling. Its fluid nature makes it ideal for draping and layering. Steam pressing and dry clean or hand wash is recommended.
