What is Silk Georgette?
Georgette is woven using highly twisted yarns in both the warp and the weft, which causes the fabric to contract slightly and develop its characteristic pebbly, crepe-like surface. The result is a fabric with more texture and body than chiffon, yet still beautifully light and fluid.

Silk Georgette Care
Silk georgette offers more stability than chiffon while retaining a soft, fluid movement, making it ideal for both draped and lightly structured designs. Its textured surface provides gentle grip, allowing for greater control when cutting and sewing. Steam pressing and dry clean or hand wash is recommended.
